Local LongHorns get new look

LAWRENCEVILLE -- Two local LongHorn restaurants have new looks after recent remodeling.

Company officials announced the Snellville and Lawrenceville steakhouses recently completed interior renovations.

"Atlanta is the original home of LongHorn Steakhouse," said Greg Brown, the restaurant's managing partner. "Our Snellville restaurant opened in 1992 and has a long history of serving the local community. We are proud and excited about the fantastic improvements we've made in this restaurant to represent the LongHorn of today. We opened as a roadhouse with peanuts on the floor, but we have evolved to a warmer, more inviting setting of a Western rancher's home. We look forward to providing our legendary steaks and genuine Western hospitality to our valued guests in this newly remodeled restaurant."

The Snellville location is located at 2120 Killian Hill Road, and the Lawrenceville location, which opened four years after the Snellville one, is at 800 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.

At both locations, a press release said, guests will be "welcomed into a warm, friendly atmosphere reminiscent of the American West and enjoy dining surrounded by soft natural materials accented by stacked stone as well as Western-inspired artwork that includes bronze sculptures and scenic paintings."

Both locations open at 11 a.m. daily for lunch and close at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
