Chick-fil-A to host Military Appreciation

LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Pike Street Chick-fil-A in Lawrenceville will honor military personnel Wednesday night.

All military personnel with identification will receive a 25 percent discount on their meals.

During the event, customers are invited to join the Central Gwinnett High School Beta Club and representatives from the U.S. Army in making holiday cards for members of the military serving overseas. The restaurant will supply blank cards and art supplies.

"We are proud to host this special event to allow our customers to send holiday greetings to our troops serving abroad," said Mark Treadwell, franchise operator of the restaurant. "We encourage the community to join us for a delicious meal and a fun, family evening in support of our servicemen and women."

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Those who cannot attend may create cards and drop them off at the restaurant before close that day.
