Karla Millsaps and John Jackson Zorn were married May 23 at the First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville. Pastor Kevin Queen officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rex and Sheila Millsaps of Lawrenceville. She is a 2002 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and a 2008 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in outdoor education. She is employed by Archer High School as a coach and teacher.
The groom is the son of Lynn and Annabel Zorn of Florala, Ala. He is a 1998 graduate of Florala High School and a 2002 graduate of Belhaven College, where he received a bachelor's degree in sports administration and a master's degree in the art of teaching. He is employed by Central Gwinnett High School as a coach and teacher.
Melissa Reeder of Dacula served as the bride's matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kristina Millsaps of Loganville, Katie Lewis of Loganville, Lindsey Moore of Lawrenceville and Amber Gauthier of Seattle.
Gid Zorn of New Brockton, Ala., served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Jeff Zorn of Opp, Ala., Justin Chambers of Pensacola, Fla., Neal Smith of Charleston, S.C., and Dustin Masingale of Catoosa, Okla.
After a cruise to Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas, the couple resides in Lawrenceville.
