Joanna Clark Womack

Joanna Clark Womack was born to Hazel Clark-Swindell and Willie Taylor Jr. on February 8, 1957 in Albany, NY. Joanna went home to be with our Lord on Monday, November 9, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was raised by her grandmother, the late Annie Mae Green Tucker and her grandfather, Verdis Tucker, Jr. She is survived by her husband, James Womack, her daughter Jovan Womack Miller (Son-in-law Grasa Miller), her son James Womack Jr. her loving sister/aunt Jacquie Tucker Ponds, her sisters; Karen Swindell, Renee Swindell, Janice Swindell; her brothers; Calvin Swindell, Gregory Swindell, and Christopher Taylor (Sister-in-Law Jeannie), Grandchildren, Jafarie, Ndiaye, Angelique, Jeremiah, and Andrew Miller whom she cherished and a host of family and friends. Joanna Womack was a hard working and committed realtor at ERA Allpoints Realty in Georgia. She was well known for her ministering to the spiritual needs of the clients while she pressed to find them a home. She was recognized for her excellent achievements in the Million Dollar Club for Realtors. She believed, without a doubt, that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”! Joanna Womack loved to praise and serve the Lord with all her heart and all her mind! She was most currently a member of Oasis of Love Ministries under the covering of Pastor Mildred Simpson and her husband Elder Simpson. She counts members of Christ the King Church, Trinity Life Church and World Life Church as extended members of her Spiritual family. She served as a Deaconess, Usher, Hospitality, Sunday School Teacher, a Praise Dancer, Worship Team, in the Women's Ministries and Pastoral Care. Joanna would do anything for any one in need, she was always coming forth with an encouraging word. Her favorite scripture was 1 Thess 4:11 and she lived her life that way! Joanna's Home Going Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 @ 12:00 PM at Inviting Event, 3485 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30078.
