LAWRENCEVILLE -- Gwinnett County Public Schools is conducting its annual review of curriculum.
GCPS invites parents, educators and the community to participate in the review, which will run through Dec. 4 and helps to ensure the system's curriculum, known as the Academic Knowledge and Skills, covers state requirements and community and educator expectations for learning.
Suggestions can be made by completing the AKS Review Form, which can be accessed and printed out online at www.gwinnettt.k12.ga.us and is available at local schools. The form should be submitted prior to Dec. 4 to the school system's Curriculum Development Office, either by mail addressed to Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road N.W., Suwanee, GA 30024-2978, or e-mail sent to aks_review@gwinnett.k12.ga.us.
