AUBURN - One person is dead and another critically injured after a two-vehicle crash Friday on Auburn Road near Belfaire Trace.
Police said the accident happened at about 3 p.m. when a 2004 Hummer H2 ran into a 2007 Honda Accord in an intersection. The driver of the Honda, 45-year-old Timothy Christopher, of Auburn, died at the scene. A passenger in the car was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center in critical condition, according to reports. The driver of the Hummer suffered minor inuries and was treated and released at the scene, police said. Investigators determined, said Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. David Schiralli, that Christopher failed to yield while making a left turn.More like this story
