LAWRENCEVILLE - The man suspected of kidnapping a woman and raping her in a cabin in the Smoky Mountains will face another court battle.
David Jansen's wife Christy filed a petition for divorce in Gwinnett Superior Court Friday, according to the court's Web site. The Snellville man was arrested Tuesday after a pizza delivery man spotted the woman's hands bound and she mouthed, "Please call 911." Jansen, who told police the sex was consensual, was released on $800,000 bond Thursday from the Sevier County Jail in Tennessee. Calls to Christy Jansen's attorney and to a phone listing for David Jansen were not answered Saturday.More like this story
