Ted Hughes, 66, of Norcross, GA, died May 26, 2009. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 29th, at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at H.G. Wright Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 28th, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hughes, a United States Marine Corps veteran, was the owner of Hughes Construction. He was a member of Norcross First Baptist Church, Norcross Lodge #228 F&AM, and Norcross O.E.S. #426. He is survived by his wife, Liz Hughes; sons and daughter-in-law, Bart Hughes of Duluth, Brett & Barbara Hughes of Buford; mother, Grace Greer of Buford; sister and brother-in-law, Joan & John Payne of Buford; grandson, Charlie Hughes; nieces and nephews, Holly and Rusty Jordan, and Dana Sutton.
