Four Gwinnett schools to add lacrosse
Four additional Gwinnett high schools will add Georgia High School Association varsity lacrosse teams this fall. Those schools - Duluth, Grayson, Norcross and Parkview - were all placed in Area 4-AAAAA this week by the GHSA.
The new programs will share that region with existing Gwinnett programs Collins Hill and Peachtree Ridge, as well as Chattahoochee. For the first time in 2009-10, the GHSA is splitting lacrosse competition into two classifications - Class AAAAA and Class AAAA/AAA/AA/A.
In the smaller classification, both Greater Atlanta Christian and Wesleyan will be in Area 3.
