Rotation, roster moves and more

LAWRENCEVILLE - Back at the ballpark and things are busy here at Gwinnett Stadium.

Some self-service to start. If anyone reading this will be at tonight's game shoot me an e-mail and let me know where you'll be sitting. We are getting fan quotes and thoughts for a special section we are putting together and I figure loyal G-Braves fans deserve first crack. Just say hey, my name is so-and-so and I'll be sitting here and I'll try to find you. I'll be the guy with the camera and notepad.

Back to baseball.

First the roster moves. Diory Hernandez call-up is official as he replaces injured Atlanta Brave Omar Infante. Antonio Perez returns from Class AA Mississippi to fill Hernandez's spot. In his three games with the M-Braves, Perez was batting .333 in 12 at bats with a home run. Much better than his AAA average of .120.

Now the rotation. Tonight it's RHP Tommy Hanson (2-3, 1.70 ERA). RHP Tony Armas (0-0, 2.08) will throw Friday and future Hall of Famer LHP Tom Glavine will take the mound on Saturday. Glavine's start will bump RHP Charlie Morton (5-2, 3.14) to Sunday and RHP Todd Redmond (2-3, 4.82) to Memorial Day.

Jorge Campillo will throw tonight from the bullpen after Hanson.

Of course all of this could change.

"I learned a long time ago, never get too far ahead," manager Dave Brundage said.
