Irma K. Cooper, age 94 of Buford, Georgia, died Friday, May 15, 2009 after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Scott Tanner will officiate. Interment will follow in Hog Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Dacula. The Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Royce Cooper. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law Larry J. and Janey Cooper, Buford; Grandchildren, Greg and Andrea Cooper, Brian and Eva Cooper, Missy and Scott Twiggs; Step Grandchildren, Greg and Michelle Wills; 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Step Great Grandchildren; Life Long Friend and Sister In-law, Lois Cooper Mitchell. Mrs. Cooper was a life long resident of Gwinnett County. She was employed with Dick Lynott & Co. for 46 years and was the oldest member and the oldest active living member of Hog Mountain Baptist Church, Dacula.
