Art and jazz will be alive in Buford this weekend.

Music will fill the historic downtown's Main Street on Saturday as artists from around the Southeast converge on the area for the second annual Art and Jazz Festival hosted by the City of Buford and the Buford Business Alliance.

This year's event will include wine and food tastings, more than 80 vendors, performances by local high school jazz bands, professional jazz and swing bands and an artist market.

"The annual Art and Jazz Festival is a celebration of not only art and music and the history of these things in Buford, but of spring and community," said Tim Koenning, president of the BBA.

Saturday's festival is free and open to the
