Dallas E. Eckard, age 94 of Snellville, GA died May 5, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Glenn Self Eckard and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Roger Malsbury of Roswell; son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Jeanette Eckard of Snellville; grandchildren, William David and Alexis Ann Eckard of Rome, Susan Elise Eckard of Atlanta, Erin Margaret Malsbury of Roswell; great granddaughter, Genevieve Patricia Eckard of Rome. Mr. Eckard, a US Army Air Corp. Veteran serving in WW II was a member of the Snellville V.F.W. Post 4180. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 9 at 11am at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Dallas E. Eckard.
