LOGANVILLE - More than 1,000 feet of tracks will take model trains across bridges, through tunnels and past villages, towns and airports at Vines Garden on Saturday.
Celebrating National Train Day, the Vines Garden Railroad will be up and running for the public to watch as the "G" Scale trains, both steam and diesel, make their way around the Gwinnett park.
Train representatives will be on hand to answer questions about trains, tracks and train configurations, while Gwinnett Braves mascot Chopper and friends from his clubhouse help celebrate the event.
The Vines Garden Railroad is at 3500 Oak Grove Road in Loganville. More information on this event can be found online at www.vinesgardenrailroad.com.
