Snellville youth earns rank of Eagle Scout
Brookwood senior Mark Dunn, son of Bill and Babette Dunn of Snellville, earned the rank of Eagle Scout on Feb. 23. His project, which he completed for the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, consisted of constructing and installing benches and trail and confidence markers on two separate trails at the center. He has earned 21 merit badges and is a member of Troop 504. Grayson Junior Girl Scouts Earn Bronze Award Aubrey Casey, Sarah Cheney, Mackenzie Ives, Caroline Mangum, Claire Newberry, Grayce Rector, Hannah Galbraith, Zoe Delvasto of Junior Girl Scout Troop 1226 in Grayson have received the Bronze Award, the highest award received by a Junior Girl Scout. To fulfill the requirements for the award, each girl vounteered 15 hours at Petco in Snellville supporting the Society of Humane Friends of Georgia with their pet adoptions and planned a community food and towel drive.More like this story
