LAWRENCEVILLE - Comic books! Get your free comic books!
Joining comic book stores around the world Saturday, six Gwinnett businesses will celebrate Free Comic Book Day, giving away a comic book to each patron. Customers can select from about 20 different titles. "The wide array of comic books being published today ensures that readers of all ages - children, teens and adults - can find something appropriate that will stir their imaginations," said Kyle Puttkammer, owner of Galactic Quest comics in Lawrenceville and Buford, two locations that are participating in the annual event.
