Ted and Cookie Palmer of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Palmer of Gainesville, to Jason Hughes of Lawrenceville, son of Steve and Lisa Hughes of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of H.B. and Jean Barnes of McRae and Mildred Ann Palmer of Waynesboro. She is a 2004 graduate of North Hall High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia College State and University. The future groom is the grandson of Joe and Virginia Hughes of Monroe and Richard and Joyce Mabry of Loganville. He is a 2004 graduate of Brookwood High School a 2008 graduate of Georgia College and State University. He is employed by Margaret Winn Holt Elementary School. The wedding is planned for June 6 at Westminster Church in Gainesville.More like this story
