Codell Yarbrough Parker, age 83, of Stone Mountain (Gwinnett County), Ga., died Friday, March 27, 2009. Her funeral will be Sunday, March 29, 2009, at 2 pm in the Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Moore and Rev. Gordon Pittard officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery, Stone Mountain. Widow of the late General Robert Parker, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Kathy Parker of Lilburn, Ga., grandchildren, David Wayne Parker of Stone Mountain, Ga., Alisha C. Parker of Lawrenceville, Ga., Douglas T. Parker of Lilburn, Ga., and Dee De (Jamie) Pack of Troy, NC. She is also survived by several special nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends whom she loved and cherished dearly. Although she loved flowers, she would want donations in her memory to the Corinth Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, P.O. Box 870048, Stone Mountain, Ga., 30087. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 5 pm at the Bill Head Funeral Home and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. 770-564-2726
