Anderson T. "Andy" Maddox, age 68 of Loganville, formerly of Buford died Saturday March 21, 2009. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday March 24, 2009 in the Buford Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. A.J. Mullinax will officiate. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford. Mr. Maddox retired form the City of Buford Water Department after 20 years of service. He enjoyed working in the garden and also enjoyed NASCAR. Mr. Maddox was preceded in death by his wife: Rosa Lee Maddox; son: Roy T. Maddox; parents: Ernest A. & Lula Bell Maddox; brothers: Chester Maddox, J. E. Maddox, Gene Maddox, Carl Maddox; sister: Louise McDaniel. He is survived by: Children: Wesley E. and Lisa Maddox, Loganville; Johnny R. Maddox and Tina Hurley, Loganville; Brothers: Ezra Maddox, Buford; Emory Maddox, Buford; John Henry Maddox, Commerce; Thermon Maddox, Buford, Sisters: Flossie Cofer, Buford; Louena Titshaw, Buford; Marjorie Sudderth, Buford; Barbara Stephens, Gainesville; Grandchildren: Matthew Maddox and Leslie Maddox; Great Grandchildren: Tasha Day and Shienne Stephens.
