Mr. and Mrs. Michael David Deming of Duluth announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Margaret Deming of Duluth, to Riley Stedtman Croft of Mount Pleasant, S.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Stedtman Croft of Mount Pleasant, S.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Richard Oliver Speir Sr. of Atlanta, Martha Ellen Phillips Deming of Decatur, the late Margaret Jackson Speir and the late Leighton Burroughs Deming. She is a 2002 graduate of Brookwood High School and received a bachelor's degree from Clemson University. She is pursuing her master's degree.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Cleveland Croft Jr. of Summerville, S.C., the late Horace Martel Kaiser and the late Don-Oza Stewart Kaiser. He is a 2001 graduate of Bishop England High School of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and received a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Clemson University. He is employed by Kennickell Print & Global Marketing.
The wedding is planned for July 18 at Duluth United Methodist Church.
