Family, friends gather for Natasha Richardson
NEW YORK - Natasha Richardson's family and friends streamed into the American Irish Historical Society on Friday afternoon for a private viewing.
Her husband, Liam Neeson, and her two sons attended the Upper East Side wake, as well as her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, sister, Joely Richardson and ABC newswoman Diane Sawyer, among others.
Earlier Friday, friends still expressed their shock and grief over her death from bleeding in the skull caused by the fall she took on a ski slope.
'Natasha was a very close friend of our family, so it's been a very, very sad few days and I think it will stay that way for a good while,' Matthew Broderick said. 'It's hard to say.'
