DULUTH - With March being National Kidney Month, a portion of the proceeds from the Collections of Jazz Benefit Concert on Saturday will go to a financial assistance program for kidney dialysis patients.
The Chuck Brown Crisis Intervention Fund of the National Kidney Foundation serving Georgia was selected as the concert beneficiary and will receive a portion of the admission fee and all money raised through the silent auction that will held in conjunction with the event.
Before the concert begins, those who attend will also have the opportunity to receive blood pressure checks and kidney health risk assessments performed by a member of the National Kidney Foundation.
The event will feature the music of Alanna Fox, Jazzmatic and the Big Worm and EWP family band.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.brownpapertickets.com for $15. Admission at the door is $20.
