Mrs. Myra Elaine Trice Quinn, age 69, a resident of Suwanee, Georgia was born November 8, 1939 in Barnesville, Georgia and died Monday, March 16, 2009 in Atlanta, GA following a year long battle with cancer. She married Thomas E. (Ed) Quinn on September 6, 1959 in Zebulon. She was a graduate of Milner High School and Massey Business College in Atlanta, GA. She worked as an accountant for a number of companies and retired from Oxy-Plus in 2001 due to health issues. She was a member of the Buford church of Christ. Mrs. Quinn was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Curtis Trice and Gladys Murray Trice, both of Barnesville and her brother, Curtis Wayne Trice also of Barnesville. She is survived by her husband of more than 49 years, Ed Quinn, Suwanee; son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Connie Quinn, Buford; daughter and son-in-law, Tricea and Tommy Durham, Grand Rapids, Michigan; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Ian, and Elise Quinn of Buford, and Kyle Walker Quinn of Grand Rapids; brother, Carey Trice of Fayetteville, Georgia; sister, Debbie Miller of Jackson, Georgia; sister-in-law, Lynda Sue Trice of Barnesville along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Buford church of Christ, 1135 Chatham Road, Buford, Georgia with remains placed in state at 9:30 a.m. with Scott Harp and Roy Quinn officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Lamar Memory Gardens in Barnesville, GA with Jimmy Miller officiating.
