Gwinnett Daily Post
LAWRENCEVILLE - The Gwinnett Broadcasting Company launched a new Web site dedicated to local programming today. The site - GBCNOW.com - offers news and entertainment shows geared toward Gwinnett County residents.
"Gwinnett's Most Wanted" is one of the first shows that will be available. It was created in conjunction with the Gwinnett Sheriff's Department and will be hosted by Sheriff Butch Conway. "Gwinnett Idol" is another show that is in production and "as we move forward programming will be added on a daily basis," said Seth Weathers, president of Weathers Corporation and executive producer of GBC. In addition to those programs, the site will have anchors and reporters who cover news in the county. GBC News will debut with segments about the new Gwinnett Braves baseball stadium and the unveiling of the Long Forum at the Greater Atlanta Christian School. "Gwinnett is ready for a dedicated television network," Weathers said. "What sets us apart is our commitment and dedication to creating programming that is relevant to our community."More like this story
