Moore, Adams wed in Georgia

NEW YORK - Mandy Moore is a married woman.

Publicist Jillian Fowkes confirmed the actress-singer and her fiance, rock musician Ryan Adams, quietly tied the knot Tuesday in Savannah. No further details were provided.

The 24-year-old Moore confirmed her engagement to Adams last month.

Moore started out as a squeaky-clean teen singer and later crossed into movies with featured roles in such films as 'License to Wed,' 'A Walk to Remember,' 'Saved' and 'American Dreamz.'

Adams, who played in the band Whiskeytown during the 1990s before beginning his prolific solo career, is known for his song 'New York, New York,' which appeared on his album 'Gold,' released in 2001.

Gandolfini must rest voice

NEW YORK - Under doctors' order, James Gandolfini is giving his vocal cords a rest - so the Wednesday matinee performance of 'God of Carnage' on Broadway was canceled.

Susanne Tighe, a spokeswoman for the production, said the former star of 'The Sopranos' would return for the Wednesday evening performance of Yasmina Reza's comedy, which is now in previews. An official opening is set for March 22 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

'God of Carnage' also stars Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis and Marcia Gay Harden.

Banks takes on violence in teen dating

In the segment airing today on 'The Tyra Banks Show,' the super model shares her experience dating a man who emotionally abused her.
