Leonard H. Morris, age 97, of Lawrenceville, Ga., died Monday morning, March 9, 2009. His funeral will be Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 12 noon in the Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. Burial will follow in Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, Ga. with U. S. Army military honors. A native of Collins, Ga., he retired from Atlanta Public School System as a maintenance supervisor, was a member of the East Point United Methodist Church and a U. S. Army veteran of WWII. He was predeceased by his wife, Omie Grove Morris in 2004 and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Patricia Grove of Lilburn, Ga., his sisters, Mary Sue Youmans of Cullowee, NC., Julia McComb of Charleston, SC., brothers, James Morris of Collins, Ga., Lewis Morris of Lawrenceville, Ga and his two nieces. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. 770-564-2726.
