The Gwinnett Braves' promotional schedule, announced Monday, includes appearances by the San Diego Chicken and Zooperstars, as well as a July 4 postgame fireworks display.
The San Diego Chicken will appear on June 26 and the Zooperstars on May 24. Both are minor league regulars. The G-Braves will play their home opener on April 17 against Norfolk. Their first game in the Class AAA International League is April 9 at Charlotte and the regular season will conclude with fan appreciation weekend Sept. 5-7. Dogs will be welcome at Gwinnett Braves stadium on June 11 for a bark in the park game and June 9 will be camp day for kids. Tickets for individual games will go on sale April 1.More like this story
