Man found dead at Duluth apartment complex April 19, 2014

Austin Cole Wilson of Dacula and Demarcus Antoine Pegues of Lawrenceville recently made the Dean's List for the 2008 fall semester at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for maintaining a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.

Kevin Thomas Corn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Corn of Lawrenceville, has recently made the Dean's List for the 2008 fall semester at Washington and Lee University for maintaing a grade-point average of at least 3.4 or higher.

The following students have been honored at Lipscomb University for their academic achievements during the 2008 spring semester: Nate Cost, Jon Freeman, Adam Quevedo, Andrew Brush, Ed Shim and Kim Moore of Lawrenceville; Jake Burton, Amanda Bowers and Sammi Lewis of Lilburn; David Sulpy, Kaitlin Kitchens, Meredith Hrebenak and Isaac Reeser of Snellville; and Ashley Swart of Suwanee.

Garrett Williams of Lawrenceville was recently named the recipient of Chowan University's 2009 Who's Who award for maintaining above a 3.0 grade-average and being an active leader in his community.

The Georgia Institute of Technology recently named Chase Hudson of Lawrenceville to its 2008 fall semester Dean's List for maintaining above a 3.0 grade-point average.

The following students have recently received their bachelor's degree from Berry College: Gregory Sautov and Michael Wentzler of Duluth; Lindsey Kenny of Suwanee; and Lauren Chatfield of Lawrenceville.

Phillip Parker Campbell of Lawrenceville recently received his master's degree from Berry College in business administration.

Emma Suzanne Eisler of Lawrenceville recently received a Presidential Scholarship from Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C.

Kara Gibbons of Lawrenceville was recently named to Southeast Missouri State University's Dean's List for maintaining at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the 2008 fall semester.

Kristen Englert of Gwinnett County was named to the Dean's List for the University of North Carolina Asheville's 2008 fall semester.

Cody Chesneau, a senior at North Gwinnett High School and son of Howard and Debra Chesneau of Buford, recently received an 1854 Scholarship at Wofford College.

The following students received a Gold Star from The Citadel for maintaining above a 3.7 grade-point average during the 2008 fall semester: Napoleon B. Dunn of Dacula, Leon Edward Hontz III of Lawrenceville, John Hedrick McGinniss of Norcross and Eugene Adjei Quarshie of Lawrenceville.

Caitlin Ashley Burns of Duluth and Sarah Marie Craig of Lawrenceville graduated summa cum laude and ranked in the top 1 percent of their graduating class at the University of Georgia's Dec. 19 Commencement ceremonies.

Jeannine Netanis of Lawrenceville recently received a bachelor's degree and graduated cum laude from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla.
