Johnny Pendley and Nancy Pendley of Sugar Hill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 23. The couple was married in 1959 at New Prospect Methodist Church in Buford. The couple is retired and have two children: Brett Pendley and Todd Pendley. They also have three grandchildren: Erin, Jay and Owen. To celebrate, the couple had a small dinner celebration with their immediate family.
