Mr. and Mrs. Mike Crowe announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Lauren Crowe, to Benjamin Lee Horton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Horton of Cochran.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lillian Hunter of Clayton and the late Wade Hunter, Budene Speed of Seneca, S.C., and the late George Speed and Wallace Crowe. She is a 2001 graduate of Collins Hill High School. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology. She is employed as a teacher by Gwinnett County. The future groom is the grandson of Ann Gutherie and Sonny Jeffords. He is a 2000 graduate of Bleckley County High School. He is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business management. He is employed by Roofing and Insulation Supply Company. The wedding is planned for July 7 at the House of Sea and Sun in St. Augustine, Fla.More like this story
