Businesses honored with Golden Hammers

LAWRENCEVILLE - Tuesday night the Lawrenceville Tourism & Trade Association and Downtown Development Authority honored local businesses and their owners with the third annual Golden Hammer Awards. The event was held at 550 Trackside, one of the honorees and the city's newest event facility.

More than 25 awards were handed out, with honorees ranging from the Central Gwinnett High School Touchdown Club for renovation done to the school's fieldhouse to Southern Renaissance, a jeweler located on the square. The Golden Hammer Awards recognize renovations, remodeling and new construction projects in the downtown Lawrenceville area as well as significant contributions to the promotion and revitalization of Lawrenceville.
