LAWRENCEVILLE - A Gwinnett County grand jury handed down an indictment Wednesday on four Meadowcreek student-athletes accused of robbing a Hispanic man in November.
The teens - Sean Frezell, Simon Terzian, Cory Huck and Atiim Henderson - are charged with armed robbery, accused of holding up 33-year-old Antonio Arcos on Nov. 3 in the parking lot of a Norcross apartment complex. They made off with a cell phone and about $700 in cash, police said. Investigators believe Terzian held a handgun to Arcos' face, while Huck threatened to punch him as Henderson and Frezell took his wallet. Five days later, before being implicated in the robbery, all four teens were arrested at the same complex, Orchard Park apartments, for loitering and prowling. Jail records show the suspects each bonded out the same day. On Nov. 17, Henderson and Terzian were picked up on the robbery charges. Huck and Frezell were apprehended the next day. By the first week of December, all had been released on $50,000 bond. Less than three weeks later, Terzian was charged with one count of burglary after police said they had tied him to a residential break-in in Lawrenceville. He was freed on bond in April. It was unclear at press time when the teens are expected in court.More like this story
