Fans yawn at A-Rod tell-all
NEW YORK - Remember that tell-all book about A-Rod?
Just a month after making headlines with its allegations that the New York Yankees star likely used steroids as far back as high school, Selena Roberts' 'A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez' has vanished from best-seller lists.
Published in early May by HarperCollins with an announced first printing of 150,000, 'A-Rod' has sold just 16,000 copies so far, according to Nielsen BookScan, which tracks about 75 percent of industry sales. The book sold 11,000 in its first week, then quickly faded.
Jonny Lee Miller joins Sienna Miller on Broadway
NEW YORK - There will be two Millers on Broadway this fall - starring in the same show.
Jonny Lee Miller will join Sienna Miller in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of 'After Miss Julie,' opening Oct. 22 at the American Airlines Theatre.
The drama is playwright Patrick Marber's riff on 'Miss Julie,' Strindberg's classic 19th century tale of class, sex and power.
Marber has updated the play to 1945 and the eve of the Labour Party's election victory in England. Sienna Miller will portray the title character, a wealthy young woman involved with a family manservant, played by Jonny Lee Miller. The two actors are not related.
