LAWRENCEVILLE - Two Gwinnett cities are kicking off their summer outdoor movie series Saturday.
Duluth's Flicks on the Bricks and Cinema Under the Stars in Suwanee will offer free family-friendly movies Saturday nights.
Flicks on the Bricks on the Duluth Town Green, 3142 Hill St., is set to run every Saturday through Aug. 8 as well as Sept. 19 and Oct. 31. The series will open with "Hotel for Dogs," which follows two foster siblings and their friends as they turn an abandoned hotel into a home for stray dogs.
Gwinnett residents can look for showings of "Coraline," "The Tale of Despereaux," "Igor" and "Monsters vs. Aliens" as the Duluth outdoor movie series continues. Starting time for Flicks on the Bricks is dusk, and those who attend are invited to bring blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. Cinema Under the Stars is set to open Saturday with former Central Park zoo residents Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria and their friends in "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa."
