Mr. Keith Heard, age 51, of Flowery Branch, GA and formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by: parents, Edgar “Shag” and Jeanette Heard; brothers, George Heard, Scotty Heard; and brother-in-law, Ricky Wallis. He is survived by: wife of thirteen years, Karen Wallis Heard, Flowery Branch, GA; son, Chasten Lemasters, Toccoa, GA; sisters, Alice Watson, Winder, GA and Belinda Heard, Flowery Branch, GA; brother, Ricky Heard, Flowery Branch, GA; aunt, Geraldine Cannon, Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wendell and Susie Wallis, Buford, GA; sister-in-law; Kim Wallis Williams, Buford, GA; brother-in-law, Randy Wallis, Buford, GA; and special friends, Ronnie Puckett and Becky and Henry Firddell. Mr. Heard was born April 3, 1958 and was a native of Buford, GA. He was a welder and a member of the Buford American Legion Post No. 127. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Mr. Ronnie Puckett and Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Keith Heard Memorial Fund, c/o Flanigan Funeral Home.
