HOSCHTON - When deputies served a search warrant Thursday afternoon at 1003 Freeman Johnson Road, they found an undisclosed amount of methamphetamines, marijuana and prescription drugs. And an off-duty Barrow County detention officer.
According to reports, the warrant was obtained after undercover deputies, about a week earlier, bought drugs there. The unidentified officer has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the investigation's outcome. The homeowner, also unidentified, was not present during the search but faces multiple drug charges, authorities said. No one was arrested at the scene.More like this story
