Norcross co-op collecting school supplies

NORCROSS - The Norcross Cooperative Ministry is collecting school supplies for children through July 31. The co-op will attempt to fill 950 book bags that will be distributed to Gwinnett County students of all ages Aug. 8 at the Book Bag Bonanza.

"Last year donations filled 700 book bags and generated an equal number of smiles, thanks to the generosity of our community," said Shirley Cabe, the co-op's executive director. This year, the ministry is serving 35 percent more families.

The Norcross co-op is located at 2275 Mitchell St. in Norcross and provides a food pantry, clothes closet, household items, job search counseling, financial assistance and more to help the local community. Donations and volunteers are greatly appreciated. Visit www.Norcrossco-op.org or call 770-263-0013 for more information.
