Tracy and Susan Durrence of Glennville announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandy Lane Durrence, to Andrew Webster Hewitt of Lilburn, son of Glenn and Wanda Hewitt of Lilburn.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Nelwanda Purcell of Glennville and the late W.F. (Billy) Purcell and Mr. and Mrs. Marquette Durrence of Glennville. She is a graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy and the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in accounting. She is employed as a certified public accountant and certified financial planner at Homrich & Berg Inc. in Atlanta. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Webster of Barnesville and the late Mr. and Mrs. John B. Hewitt. He is a graduate of Brookwood High School and the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in accounting. He received a master's degree in taxation and personal financial planning from Georgia State University and is employed as a certified public accountant and certified financial planner at GenSpring Family Offices LLC in Atlanta.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 1 in Isle De Vieques, Puerto Rico.
