Monica Lopez and Jeffrey Jarrard were married Oct. 12 at The Georgia Club in Statham. The Rev. David Walters officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mercedes Suarez Lopez of Suwanee and the late Dr. Angel Lopez. She is a graduate of North Georgia College and State University and is employed as a teacher at Jones Elementary School.

The groom is the son of Jeff and Sheila Jarrard. He is the owner of Elite Stump Grinding.

Amber Crook Lopez of Bethlehem served as the bride's matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Chrissy Williamson, Melissa Pilgrim and Angela Smith all of Braselton, Alyssa Ferega of Woodstock, Lynne Stevens of Birmingham, Ala., Kassie Millwood of Gainesville, Tia Henderson of Winder and Jarelis Lopez and Enid Lopez both of Aguada, Puerto Rico.

Brian Mulligan of Oakwood served as the groom's best man.

Groomsmen were Andres Lopez of Bethlehem, Alan Graham of Braselton, Greg Graham and Adam Smith, both of Flowery Branch, Tim Graham and Mark Downing, both of Oakwood and Adrien Donastorg of Suwanee.

After a honeymoon at Riviera Maya in Mexico, the couple resides in Winder.
