Mrs. Frances Duncan Spruce, age 86, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, John L. Spruce; parents, Charlie and Lizzie Duncan; sisters, Ann Lord and Clara Holcomb; and brothers, Roy Duncan, Henry Larkin Duncan, C.V. Duncan, Leary Duncan and Leland Duncan. She is survived by: brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Betty Jo Duncan, Palm Harbor, FL; sisters-in-law, Nell Franklin Duncan, Buford, GA, Blanche Davis Duncan, Buford, GA, Julia Mae Bradberry Duncan, Smyrna, GA, and Mildred Orr Duncan, Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Spruce was born September 15, 1922 in Gwinnett County, GA. She was a retired seamstress from Lovable Company after 37 years of service. She was a member of the Sardis United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the Women's Club. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Hagood officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. Arrangements by: Junior E.
