RocknRolla 2-disc Special Edition
(R) Movie: 4 out of 4 stars Disc: 3 out of 4 stars After a long eight-year lull that included a teaming with wife Madonna and one of the worst movies ever made ("Swept Away"), English filmmaker Guy Ritchie returns with a vengeance and delivers the finest effort of his career. Owing much to "Pulp Fiction" and Ritchie's own "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," "RocknRolla" is loud, bloody, vile and profane and contains the shortest, most comical sex scene in the history of film. British and Russian mobsters try to outwit and dupe each other through a series of real estate scams, and if you blink at the wrong time, you'll be totally lost. Luckily, this is the kind of movie that simply begs for multiple viewings. Technical specifications: aspect ratio: Widescreen (2.40:1), audio: English, French and Spanish (Dolby Digital 5.1), subtitles: English, French and Spanish. Special features include: · Optional filmmaker commentary · Digital copy option · Making-of featurette Warner Brothers, $34.99More like this story
