Prep Roundup: No. 1 Parkview girls stay undefeated

LAWRENCEVILLE - Lauren Coleman led the Panthers with 14 points, as Parkview beat Central Gwinnett 54-49 on Friday to remain an undefeated 18-0 on the season.

Megan Barnidge and Katie Carroll each scored 10 points for Parkview. Dria David led Central with 27 points.


Brookwood 44, Dacula 27

DACULA - The Broncos improved to 11-8 overall and 6-4 in 8-AAAAA with a 44-27 win over Dacula on Friday.

Katie Mallow led Brookwood in scoring with 15 points, followed by Jazmine Jackson's 10 points.

Dacula's top scorer was China Vinson with 12.

South 65, Meadowcreek 20

SNELLVILLE - Lindsay Nagy led the Comets with 14 points, to help South Gwinnett beat Meadowcreek 65-20 on Friday.

Tina Odume added 10 points for South (9-9). Maria Arrieta chipped in seven points for Meadowcreek.

Duluth 53, Collins Hill 45

DULUTH - Mykala Walker scored 19 points to help Duluth take a 53-45 win over Collins Hill on Friday.

Alex Phillips and Daphne Adebayo each added eight points for the Wildcats (14-5). Jazmin Walker contributed 12 points and seven assists for Collins Hill (6-11) and Crystal Chaney chipped in 10 and had six rebounds.

Shiloh 45, Grayson 41

SNELLVILLE - Alyssa Aitken contributed 17 points and 19 rebounds to help Shiloh (9-10) top Grayson 45-41 on Friday.

Erika Joseph scored 10 points for Grayson.

Mill Creek 63, South Forsyth 37

HOSCHTON - Mill Creek clinched its 100th win in the program's history, as Mill Creek beat South Forsyth 63-37 on Friday.

Moneshia Simmons led the Hawks (15-3) with 22 points and 13 rebounds and Monique Weathers contributed eight points and six rebounds.

Buford 53, Avondale 23

BUFORD - Buford improved to 15-1 by beating Avondale 53-23 on Friday.

Karley Fullem scored 11 points and Shareese Williams added 10 points for the Wolves.

GAC 78, Decatur 58

DECATUR - Chaney Means scored 18 points for the Spartans, to help Greater Atlanta Christian beat Decatur 78-58 and improve to 12-6 on Friday night.

Clarke Boards added 17 points and 11 assists and Siera Lawrence chipped in 12. Alex McCall scored 11 for GAC.

Hebron 43, Commerce 30

DACULA - Mindy Montgomery led Hebron (5-11) with 23 points, to help the Lions beat Commerce 43-30 on Friday.

Wesleyan 76, Mt. Pisgah 12

ALPHARETTA - Anne Marie Armstrong led Wesleyan with 16 points and nine assists to help the Wolves beat Mt. Pisgah 76-12 on Friday.

Erin Hall contributed 10 points for Wesleyan (16-3).

Providence 46, St. Francis 35

LILBURN - Liz Learst scored 15 points to help Providence take a 46-35 win over St. Francis on Friday at Homecoming.

Mallory McQuaig added nine points for the Stars (12-6).

Loganville 69, Rockdale 39

LOGANVILLE - Brittnee Hazel led with 25 points to help Loganville take a 69-39 victory over Rockdale on Friday.

Tiana Small added 11 points for Loganville (14-6).


Collins Hill 55, Duluth 51

DULUTH - Jeremy Olsen scored 22 points as Collins Hill topped Duluth 55-51 on Friday.

Saah Nimley contributed 13 points and 10 assists, and Reed Buck added 12 points for the Eagles (13-4).

Jarrett Christian and Armand Tatum each scored 15 points for Duluth (6-13).

Brookwood 57, Dacula 53 OT

DACULA - Brookwood beat Dacula 57-53 in overtime on Friday night.

Clint Cooper scored 10 points for Brookwood and Brian Cole led all scorers with 25 points for Dacula (10-7).

Central 71, Parkview 60

LAWRENCEVILLE - Central Gwinnett took a 71-60 win over Parkview on Friday.

Nick Dominguez scored 15 points, while Kwabena Frimpong and Ayo Madamidola each scored 14 points for Central (9-9).

Rachard Lofton scored 26 points for Parkview and Brandon Macon had 20.

GAC 53, Decatur 42

DECATUR - Trent Wiedeman led all scorers with 19 points as Greater Atlanta Christian defeated Decatur 53-42 on Friday.

Dylan Harper scored 14 points and Paul Dawson added 12 points for the Spartans (15-3).

Buford 79, Avondale 76

BUFORD - Ja'Kar Bridges led the Wolves with 17 points, as Buford topped Avondale 79-76 on Friday.

Tyshawn Holley and Zac Lynn each scored 13 points for the Wolves (5-10).

St. Francis 60, Providence 54 OT

LILBURN - Providence fell to St. Francis 60-54 in overtime on Friday.

Nate Bucher scored 16 points and Michael Adams added 14 points for Providence. Westley Hinton chipped in an additional 13 points for the Stars (11-7)

Wesleyan 63, Mt. Pisgah 54

ALPHARETTA - Andrew Frerking scored 20 points for Wesleyan, to help the Wolves take a 63-54 victory over Mt. Pisgah on Friday.

Griffin Schamp scored 17 points for Wesleyan (13-6).
