LAWRENCEVILLE - Calling all future and potential brides, and even those single ladies who want to get a head start on planning their dream weddings: Sunday's winter bridal and fashion show is for you.
Caterers, photographers, florists, event planners and more will be on hand at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse to help brides - and dedicated grooms, too - plan a perfect day.
"We have a variety of vendors, and most of them are from around the area," said Alicia Langley, recreation leader with Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation, adding all 48 vendors have donated door prizes for the event, which will also feature a fashion show with models showing off wedding gowns, bridesmaids' and flower girl dresses, dresses for mothers of the brides and tuxedos for the lucky grooms. Sweet Memories of Lawrenceville is coordinating the fashion show.
"I think you can come here and find pretty much everything you need," said Langley, who was married in November 2007.
The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. and the courthouse is at 185 Crogan St., Lawrenceville. For more information, call 770-822-5450 or visit www.gwinnettparks.com.
