Evelyn C. Higgins, age 89, of Norcross, died January 4, 2009. Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe R. Higgins, she was born in Duluth and was a homemaker. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dwayne and Kathy Higgins of Norcross; sister, Lennie Ruth Byers of Duluth; brother, Russell Stevens of Norcross; one granddaughter, Morgan Higgins of Rome. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel with Rev. Jim Ferguson officiating burial will be in Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 6, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Duluth Chapel 770-476-2535.
