Gwinnett Daily Post
The Zac Brown Band will serve up a show "Chicken Fried" tonight in Gwinnett.
Promoting its third album, "The Foundation," the band will play at Wild Bill's in Duluth, a show sure to include the single "Chicken Fried," in which frontman Zac Brown pays musical homage to his home state. Brown hails from Dahlonega and all but one of the band members - which include bassist John Hopkins, fiddler Jimmy De Martini and more recent additions of guitarist/organist Coy Bowles and drummer Chris Fryar - are from Georgia.
In mid-December, "Chicken Fried" made CMT.com's High 5 list of top videos, while the band filmed episodes for CMT Insider and CMT's Studio 330 Sessions Up-Close.
