Sara Jane Brown Temple, age 81 of Lawrenceville, formerly of Atlanta, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2009 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Temple officiating. Burial Decatur City Cemetery. A member of Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church and a Homemaker, Mrs. Temple attended Wesleyan College in Macon and The University of Georgia. She worked for Retail Credit, now Equifax for over 10 years and was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Temple of Sanford, NC and her daughter-in-law, Lori D. Temple of Larchmont, New York. She is survived by: 3 Sons & Daughters-in-law: John Kenneth & Connie Temple, Lawrenceville; William Scott & Cynthia Temple, Atlanta; Robert & Betty Temple, Larchmont, New York; Grandchildren: Austin, Paul, Blake, Ian, Lindsey, Kathryn, Grace, Sophia, Sarah Elizabeth, & Hudson Temple; Step-Daughter: Mary Temple Baker, Norfok, VA; Sister-in-law: Carolyn Brown, Atlanta; Several Nieces & Nephews.. Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM, Friday, January 2, 2009 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045. 770-962-3100.
