WINDER - Officials announced a $10,000 reward Friday for information leading to an arsonist behind an abandoned home fire this month in Winder.
The blaze damaged a home in the 1000 block of Bowman Way just before 7 a.m. on Feb. 2. Investigators haven't said exactly what evidence leads them to believe the fire was intentionally set. "The evidence on the scene has pointed to a deliberately set fire," Chief Investigator Blair Darst said. The reward, standard in many arson cases, is offered through the Georgia Arson Control Hotline. Officials urge anyone with information regarding the incident to call 800-282-5804.More like this story
