Mary Alice Ingle wife of Neal E. Ingle, and mother of Philip and Steven Ingle, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 2:15 am; from complications associated with Alzheimer's. Born October 30, 1930, in Dallas, Texas, to Otto and Sally Gluth, She lived most of her life in Atlanta, GA but also lived in Albany, GA, Chattanooga, TN and Ludowici , GA; returning to Atlanta to live out her life with her loving care-giver husband and family. She attended the First Baptist Church of Loganville. She was a devoted mother and great southern cook who made great pecan and lemon meringue pies, and real fried chicken. Mary Alice was a Nursing graduate of Southern Adventist University and worked as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She is survived by her husband Neal E. Ingle of Loganville, GA; her sons, Philip E. Ingle and his wife Jamie of Lenoir, NC, and Steve M. Ingle and his wife Ann of Loganville, GA; and four grandchildren; Rebekah Ingle of Knoxville, TN, Sarah (Brian) Willing of Newnan, GA, Joshua (Amanda) Ingle of Lenoir, NC, and Allison K. Ingle of Loganville, GA, to whom she was known as Gran Gran. She follows her sisters; Betty Figley and Dorothy Spivey, and brothers; William, Robert, and Otto Gluth. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Elim Baptist Church in Ludowici, GA, at 1:00 followed by burial in Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.
