Doris Stephens Webb, age 86, of Eatonton, GA, formerly of Lawrenceville, GA, died Tuesday, February 17th, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jewell Webb of 67 years, her Mother and Father, Ben and Arlene Stephens and her sister, Helen Bennett. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-laws, Carol and Jeff Daniel of Washington, GA. Kay and Greg Lunsford of Eatonton, GA, Kathy and Kent Drummond of Stone Mountain, GA. Son and daughter in law, Steve and Frances Webb of Eatonton, GA, sister, Dorothy Johnson, sister in law, Rubye Webb, brothers in law, Oscar Duffey, Ernest Bennett and Hansel Johnson. She has 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Doris was born June 7, 1922 in Gwinnett County. She worked for Sears and Roebuck for 6 years and Ohio Table Pad Co for 12 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Eatonton and was a Pink Lady Volunteer at Putnam General Hospital. She was a loving mother and grandmother and took great joy in cooking for all her family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19 at 2pm at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will be held at Corinth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Corinth Cemetery, c/o Cora Johnson, P.O. Box 870048, St. Mountain, GA 30087, in memory of Doris Webb.
