Robert Charles Brantley, Sr. age 83 of Snellville passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 31, 2009 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Tom Elliott officiating. A WWII Air Force Veteran, Mr. Brantley worked for ER Snell Construction for forty plus years and was an avid outdoor sportsman who loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Carolyn Sharp Brantley, Snellville; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Robert & Jeanie Brantley Jr., Daphne, AL; Barry & Barb Brantley, Lilburn; Tom & Tracy Brantley, Lawrenceville; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Tim Brantley, Augusta; Jack & Lora Brantley, Tucker, Farris & Emily Brantley, Charlotte, NC.; Grandchildren: Erin, Amy, Drew, Carlie, Alex, Emily, Evann, & Madison. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Piney Mount United Methodist Church, 3065 Old Savannah Road, Tennille, Georgia 31089-3732 (478-552-5394).
